Thethread gauge size of the ring gauge is supposed to be the larger solid tooth shape of the tested thread. The action diameter of the tested thread is checked to exceed the medium diameter of the larger solid tooth shape, and the actual size of the bottom diameter is checked to exceed the larger solid size.
Inspection method of thread plug gauge:
If the tested thread can be screwed with the thread gauge and not completely screwed with the thread gauge (thread gauge can only be screwed with two segments of the tested thread, and the screwing amount must not exceed two pitches), it shows that the action diameter of the tested thread does not exceed the medium diameter of its larger solid tooth type, and the single medium diameter does not exceed its middle diameter. If the diameter of the smaller solid teeth is smaller, then the screw fit and connection strength can be guaranteed. Then the measured thread diameter is qualified, otherwise it is not qualified.
To put it plainly, thread diameter is the nominal diameter of thread, which is the value represented by * in the thread "M**".
